“Abs are cool, but being happy is cooler! Having perspective on your own life and goals is key, it’s very easy to get overwhelmed by social media and other people’s lives.
Most “normal” people cannot give up 15-20 hours a week to train, so DO NOT compare yourself to people that do. Most of us will compare ourselves to people that are getting payed to be in shape/workout. If you work 40 hours a week and have 2 children and a significant other, you are going to have to use your time very well when You’re in the gym. You have to understand that progress will take slightly longer than someone that can basically live in a gym. At the end of the day you have to be happy with yourself and what you are achieving in your own life and other people’s success should not detract from this. Rather than asking yourself if your abs are as good as “X’s” or are you as strong as them. Ask yourself how close to achieving your own goals are you. Or for that matter do you even have any specific goals??? Don’t waste time on jealousy or negativity. Focus on you, focus on making you happy, that’s all that really matters!”
We are extremely happy to have Matt on board and we have full confidence he will instantly become a key part of team Heavy Rep Gear moving forward.

Understanding what a good joint is, really comes down to ‘it depends’. For example,If you are a baseball thrower, you will require about 120 degrees external rotation of the shoulder to pitch at some serious speed. Is that really a requirement for an office worker? Probably not.
